A tag has been placed on Keep Victoria Beautiful, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Regarding Speedy Deletion
Hello, Cenakhoa. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia.
I'm sorry, but this has been deleted as meeting one or more of the Categories for Speedy Deletion.
Generally, articles are speedily deleted when there is no assertion of significance or they fall into things to avoid or what Wikipedia is not.
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources providing verifiable information. That generally means someone unconnected with the subject needs to have written a great deal about the subject.
Sometimes articles are deleted because they contain content copyrighted elsewhere. Such content can be used as a source of information, but the content here must be completely rewritten from scratch.
Some articles contain material written in a promotional tone. These must often be written from scratch. They are vigorously deleted.
Any content that is negative in tone and unsourced or which is disparaging will also be vigorously deleted.
Any deficiencies with notability, sourcing, or things to avoid should be remedied before reposting as they can lead to repeated deletions.
For test edits, click Cenakhoa/sandbox
If you want to try again, please use the Article Wizard to guide you through the creation process.
You may find this tool useful: Google custom search

If you have verifiable information from reliable sources that show subject does meet notability requirements Let me know.
CONTENT IN ARTICLES NEEDS TO BE RELIABLY SOURCED.

Sorry , have been offline. I think your article is good now much better than the version I nominated for G11, if you can wait a week and then resubmit it and give me a ping, I'll review it Atlantic306 (talk) 07:45, 28 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Actually it would be better if after a week you pinged me and waited for reply thanks Atlantic306 (talk) 07:51, 28 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
as another reviewer. I've looked at it. We do not usually have articles for state branches of national iorganizations. Why not add the material to the national article--it may help encourage other to fill in information also. DGG ( talk ) 00:00, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I think that would be best otherwise it will likely be deleted at WP:AFD Atlantic306 (talk) 00:13, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dear User:Atlantic306, User:DGG, As cited in Keep Australia Beautiful's website (http://kab.org.au/ourmission/) and wikipedia page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keep_Australia_Beautiful)"The Keep Australia Beautiful Network (KAB), consisting of an independent federation network in each State and Territory". Keep Victoria beautiful and Keep Australia beautiful is independent to each other although the naming might caused confusion. The only common program betweens different territories in Australia is the Tidy Towns and Sustainable cities awards program. In each state, there are signature programs that belongs to each independent member. Could you please re-consider my request ? Thank you and regards, Cenakhoa (talk) 00:49, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Ultrasound Education Group. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:

|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]

Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg.

There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! @Zackmann08: Thank you Zackmann08 for deleting the inappropriate article, I really appreciate it, I would like to clarify some information before I rewrite better version of this article. Also I would like to listen to some suggestion and advice from you. At the moment, I am a student at the University of Melbourne and would like to contribute an article about a research group that I have known, which was the Ultrasound Education Group at the Melbourne Medical School. I didn't aware that copy and paste the content from the website is not allowed despite the fact that I have written some parts of the website https://medicine.unimelb.edu.au/uegres and https://medicine.unimelb.edu.au/ueg in my partime intern. I will also reduce the mentions of the lecturers and researchers in the group and focus more on the impacts of the research and clinical education that this group had contributed for the society and medical education in Australia. Finally I will give more citation from reliable sources and medical associations, which mentioned this group's research outcomes such as The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, the Anaesthesia Continuing Education (ACE) Committee and The College of Intensive Care Medicine Australia. --Cenakhoa (talk) 23:40, 18 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

COI

[edit]

You have an obvious conflict of interest and you must declare it. If you work directly or indirectly for an organisation, or otherwise are acting on its behalf, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. If you are paid directly or indirectly by the organisation you are writing about, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Cenakhoa. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Cenakhoa|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. Note that editing with a COI is discouraged, but permitted as long as it is declared. Concealing a COI can lead to a block. Please do not edit further until you respond to this message.

Also read the following regarding writing an article

  • you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the organisation claims or interviewing its management. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls
  • The notability guidelines for organisations and companies have been updated. The primary criteria has five components that must be evaluated separately and independently to determine if it is met:
  1. significant coverage in
  2. independent,
  3. multiple,
  4. reliable,
  5. secondary sources.
Note that an individual source must meet all four criteria to be counted towards notability.
  • you must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic.
  • there shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
  • you must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. You must also reply to the COI request above Jimfbleak - talk to me? 10:26, 24 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Jimfbleak:@DGG: Hi Jimfbleak & DGG, thank you for notifying me about the deletion of Ultrasound Education Group and inform me what should I do next.
  1. I have placed the COI tag under my User:Cenakhoa, can I write a Draft here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Ultrasound_Education_Group and notify you when it's done for review?
  2. I will remove citations from the UEG's domain, however I have already inserted a lot of citations from independance and verifiable sources including journal from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_New_England_Journal_of_Medicine, one of the most prestigious peer review journal for UEG noticable research outcome, I hope that those citations will be taken to consideration for my good wills of contribution and to neutralise my tone of writing to make this article more encyclopedic. Others citations that I have cited are from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Association_for_Cardio-Thoracic_Surgery and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_News which also meet the notability guidelines.
  3. I will pay more attention to text copied elsewhere, however the part about UEG's research topic is simply to list all of the research themes. There were very limited different ways to paraphrase to make a significant different statement. Would you mind advising me where should I modify to avoid this mistake again?
  4. thank you sincerely --Cenakhoa (talk) 03:50, 25 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
