Reply to someone asking for medical advice on Talk:Floater ("HELP!")
[edit]Why so rough?? :D 41.235.16.76 (talk) 04:20, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
- If you mean that my reply to you was impolite, I don't agree. Wikipedia is not a forum for discussing your personal eye problems. I said a newsgroup like sci.med.vision is more appropriate. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Floater#HELP! Ceinturion (talk) 05:47, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry I meant tough, anyway thanks 41.235.16.76 (talk) 13:07, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
Renaming "Man Takraf RB293" to "Bagger 293" (see 1)
[edit]Go ahead and move it. You know more about it than me. Add anything you know to the article. Daniel Christensen (talk) 21:36, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
- I see you haved moved it already, thanks! Ceinturion (talk) 17:45, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
Rainbow issues
[edit]The line "A rainbow does not actually exist at a particular location in the sky." should be removed. The rainbow occupies the space in which the light is observable. The line implies that its existence is dependant on its observation. 86.156.197.11 (talk) 06:19, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
- That is an interesting thought, although I am not sure I would agree. Ceinturion (talk) 09:07, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
I would prefer to see the mathmatics behind calculating the size, shape and colour of a rainbow observed from any point, given the density of the water droplets, the source for the light and what ever else is required. 86.156.197.11 (talk) 06:19, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
- May be you would like to include droplet non-sphericity as well. Ceinturion (talk) 09:07, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
Raynauds Finger Images
[edit]I have Raynaud's and I think these images are legit. The fingers do turn white like in the photos, and then when you warm them in water they turn purple for a few minutes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.206.159.63 (talk) 03:46, 19 August 2013 (UTC)

- This is better than what you wrote last week, but you still need to simplify it further to Ceinturion (talk) 22:37, 9 June 2020 (UTC)

- No, that equation is incorrect. Please read this link to Halliday & Resnick. Ceinturion (talk) 19:18, 11 June 2020 (UTC)
what is the equation when the source and the reflector travel toward each other
[edit]. Please read THIS LINK
source emits sound with a frequency of 860 Hz. It is moving at 20.0 m/s toward a stationary reflecting wall. If the speed of sound is 343 m/s, what frequency does an observer riding with the source hear
