Hi Cedwards757! You created a thread called Photos and Positioning at Wikipedia:Teahouse, but it has been archived because there was no discussion for a few days. You can still find the archived discussion here. If you have any additional questions that weren't answered then, please create a new thread.

There is actually not a discussion. Cedwards757 you should explain exactly what article you are having a problem with, and then tell us exactly what you want to do with links on social media.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 20:55, 4 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I took a second look and saw you had a question about photos. Here is some standard advice about images:

  • If you want to upload an image from your computer for use in an article, you must determine the proper license of the image (or whether it is in the public domain). If you know the image is public domain or copyrighted but under a suitable free-license, upload it to the Wikimedia Commons instead of here, so that all projects have access to the image (sign up). If you are unsure of the licensing status, see the file upload wizard for more information. Please also read Wikipedia's image use policy.
  • If you want to add an image that has already been uploaded to Wikipedia or Wikimedia Commons, add [[File:File name.jpg|thumb|Caption text]] to the area of the article where you want the image to appear – replacing File name.jpg with the actual file name of the image, and Caption text with a short description of the image. See our picture tutorial for more information. I hope this helps.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 21:14, 4 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
