OK - this is the main thing to remember. We do not write about fictional people like they are real. We treat them as an object of the narrative. So we would not write

billy-bob got married to sue and they had a baby together, but then we found out that the baby was actually that of fred!

we would write something like Billy bob is a fictional character in the series pigtown. The character is played by John Smith, who joined the show in 1999. The character has been described as "quite dark in nature" and....

and so on. So the main things are 1) write about character from a real world perspective (objects of the narrative) and 2) try and find reliable sources that talk about the characters - their motivations, their development etc. So interviews with the actors, that sort of thing. --Allemandtando (talk) 15:54, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
