Edit war

[edit]

Hello. You appear to be involved in an edit war on Rick Hill . While the three-revert rule is hard and fast, please be aware that you can be blocked for edit warring without making 3 reverts to an article in 24 hours. You are not entitled to 3 reverts and are expected to cooperatively engage other editors on talk pages rather than reverting their edits. Note that posting your thoughts on the talk page alone is not a license to continue reverting. You must reach consensus. Continued edit warring may cause you to be blocked. This is a content dispute, not vandalism. Please read WP:NOTVAND and stop referring to the other editors as vandals. Thank you. --NeilN talk to me 13:45, 24 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for making a report on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, it appears that the editor you reported may not have engaged in vandalism, or the user was not sufficiently or appropriately warned. Please note there is a difference between vandalism and unhelpful or misguided edits made in good faith. If the user continues to vandalise after a recent final warning, please re-report it. Thank you. Toddst1 (talk) 13:47, 24 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop assuming ownership of articles such as Rick Hill. Doing so may lead to disruptive behavior such as edit wars and is a violation of policy, which may lead to your being blocked from editing Wikipedia. Toddst1 (talk) 14:03, 24 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
