[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Certifications
[edit]Hi Ccdes0001. I notice you are adding and updating certifications to article, like you did here and in other places, which is much appreciated. I thought you might benefit from some tips and guidelines we are using when adding certifications to articles about recordings and discographies.
- In recording articles, certifications should be alphabetized, i.e., what I fixed here
- When using certifications of recordings in Australia, if you specify
|certyear=
correctly, the template will provide a source. The source you provided here is not only redundant, it is wrong. I corrected it in this edit. - Please be more careful when reusing sources. In this set of edits you made many worthwhile updates. However, the source was incorrect since many of the ARIA certifications were from 2019 and the source you used was from 2018. I needed to add a source and correct everything, see here.
- Per WP:DISCOGSTYLE in discographies we list certifications only for regions where peaks are listed. I removed the BVMI certification you added, which was also missing a source.
There are other corrections I made, you can see them in the article histories. I hope you find this useful. Happy editing. --Muhandes (talk) 08:55, 27 October 2021 (UTC)
- Please don't use "2x", use "2×". Please also be careful with the sourcing of your edits, see this correction. --Muhandes (talk) 11:13, 14 July 2022 (UTC)
