[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Molly Hatchet. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. UndergroundMan3000 (talk) 14:27, 28 February 2024 (UTC)
- I really don't get the point here, sorry. I just edited the titles to make the different eras of the band more recognizible. nothing disruptive here. The result of restoring the previous title is making all more confuse and empty of any meaning: "rotating members", "rotating more members" is not only generic but disrespectful to the different eras of this band. [edit]This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. UndergroundMan3000 (talk) 13:42, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
- I tried to motivate what I did, no one answered. This is not vandalizing at all and I find this definition more than offensive. I copy and paste here, once again, my motivations

- Vandalism or not, the titles you edit - for example from "Reformation and rotating more members" to "Reformation under Bobby Ingram, initial Phil McCormack era" - that's too much information, meaning "rotating members" or whatever would be more concise given how many band members Molly Hatchet has changed over the years. UndergroundMan3000 (talk) 14:26, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
- Trust me, i get your point. My effort was just finalized to make every different era immediately recognizible by the reader. "rotating here, rotating there" is much more chaotic in my opinion. anyway, thanks for replying me. i will not insist. cheers. Cbp 444 (talk) 14:41, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
- I apologize about all the "vandalism" or "disruptive edits" accusations. UndergroundMan3000 (talk) 20:13, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
- Not here to egg on this discussion, but here to recommend that this is taken up to the articles talk page where it can be discussed with more people much more easily.
- Also specifically to @UndergroundMan3000, I noticed you chose to give an only warning immediately despite the only previous warning being from 2 months ago and it was only a level 2. I also noticed you reported them AIV immediately after giving the warning even though you're supposed to wait until the user vandalises again after the final/only warning. Why is that? - No worries mate, I appreciate. Cbp 444 (talk) 07:17, 9 April 2024 (UTC)

[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Molly Hatchet. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. UndergroundMan3000 (talk) 12:10, 20 June 2024 (UTC)
Please discuss your opinions or concerns at Talk:Molly Hatchet instead of continuing to engage in an edit war. Titles like "rotating members" and "rotating more members" are better, not that your preferred version is useless or too much information, but they align with the fact that Molly Hatchet has had so many lineup changes that the band wasn't/isn't just all about the lead singers they've had. I hope this has shed enough light on why I kept reverting your changes. UndergroundMan3000 (talk) 13:01, 20 June 2024 (UTC)
