Your recent edit to WADL (TV) (diff) was reverted by an automated bot. The edit was identified as adding either test edits, vandalism, or link spam to the page or having an inappropriate edit summary. If you want to experiment, please use the preview button while editing or consider using the sandbox. If this revert was in error, please contact the bot operator. If you made an edit that removed a large amount of content, try doing smaller edits instead. Thanks! // VoABot II 15:08, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
The bot reverts
[edit]Hi, your edits are being reverted by a bot, a program that attempts to recognize maliscious edits (of which we get a ton) and revert them. It's probably because you're deleting a lot of material from the articles. I'm going to review your edit and revert the bot's edit if your edit was within the guidelines, but it'll take me some time. But as the other guy said, having a neutral tone is of utmost important, so any promotional material will be removed. You can discuss any factual problems on the article's talk page (by clicking discussion at the top). Or let me know and I'll deal with them (but you know everything has to be referenced to a reliable source, right?) I get the sense that you're getting really upset over this, which will probably harm your cause. How about taking a breather? Don't hesitate to leave me a message on my talk page if you have any questions or need anything, I'm always glad to help. Peace, delldot talk 15:29, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
- I'm trying to help, but I don't have any background on the conflict at all. If you look in the article's history, you'll see that I have never edited it (that I know of). You may know that wikipedia is a very loose-knit group of volunteers, not a cohesive organization: I'm not the person you've apparently had conflict with. Why don't you list your concerns on the article's talk page, I'm glad to institute any changes you suggest as long as they're in line with policy (e.g., they need reliable citations, must be neutral in tone, should not remove sourced relevant info, etc.) Peace, delldot talk 16:06, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
Discussion
[edit]I've added a section to the WADL talk page. Please discuss your concerns there. --DBishop1984 15:45, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
