Backpage.com edits
[edit]Thanks for your recent contribution to the Backpage.com entry. Great citations. I added a few words to the first line, which is about Tony Ortega and Village Voice. Just wanted people to know that all of Village Voice Media was funded in part by Backpage. VVM was made up of 13 to 17 papers, depending on the year, and each had a different editor. Each sold ads in their print versions and had other sources of revenue. Added this just for context. Thanks again. Celine1776 (talk) 22:15, 17 August 2021 (UTC)
You're welcome Celine1776! I will doing some fixes as somebody added unnecessary content. Thank you!Caudaequinas (talk) 19:50, 5 September 2021 (UTC)
Hi, Caudequinas, the text you deleted recently was text I added, as mentioned above, for context. I don't believe my content is unnecessary any more than yours is, so I have moved my content into a separate area titled "Conflation of Sex Trafficking and Prostitution," as this is a common problem with this subject. It is related to Backpage, obviously, but perhaps it requires its own section. Note: I did not delete any of your content. Many thanks! Celine1776 (talk) 03:45, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
- User:Cambial Yellowing just removed this content, and I believe they did this correctly. Please be advised that we take the BLP seriously. Drmies (talk) 19:32, 17 October 2022 (UTC)
