Speedy deletion nomination of Cathopia
[edit]Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Cathopia, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. — Timneu22 · talk 12:38, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
July 2010
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. — Timneu22 · talk 12:50, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and topics that are kept are reliably sourced and notable. You have provided no sources and no indication that it is notable. — Timneu22 · talk 12:55, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to the page Talya. Such edits constitute vandalism and are reverted. Please do not continue to make unconstructive edits to pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thank you. JamesBWatson (talk) 12:58, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
TFOWR
[edit]Hello, I moved the message that you posted to TFOWR from his userpage to his talk page, which is the place to leave messages for editors. He'd find it easier to establish what the problem is if you could provide him with some more information, like a link to the article.
