For your first article, this looks great. Nice work! ALI nom nom 17:16, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
Re [1] this edit, can you check this edit. I think your removal came from a poorly worded phrase from me, which I have tried to correct. Ceoil (talk) 21:02, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
Buchanan and King
[edit]I agree with you in terms of how the Buchanan-King relationship has been described in modern times, despite the scarcity of evidence. I just updated the relevant passage on the William R. King page and fixed one of the footnote references. Please take a look at it and let me know what you think. If we have the right tone and facts captured, that's good. If not, please let me know. Re: Madonna
[edit]Yes, I agree also. Would you like to participate in an informal review of the article? Myself and two other editors are trying to weed out the fancruft through an informal review on the article talk page and your contributions would be welcome! —JennKR | ☎ 00:46, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
Max Baucus Name Change
[edit]Catherine,
While I appreciate your no-nonsense or "gossip" deletionist principles on articles, you deleted a talk point that I had made. The reason I put it into the talk, rather than the article, was to create a discussion and maybe prompt people to search for sources. A seemingly toxic comment, out of context, it was not entirely false. Source: He's my cousin, although I have no vested interest since I am not, nor ever was, an heir to Stephen Enke's estate. That source, in and of itself, also does not follow article guidelines, but since I did not include it in the article it should not be deleted. There is an interesting story here, and seems to have been eradicated from record. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 169.198.202.26 (talk) 14:57, 21 August 2014 (UTC)
Grace Kelly
[edit]Hi,
We are Cornell University students working on a class project that involves the editing of Wikipedia pages. We are all very new to the Wikipedia editing process, and as such we were hoping for some feedback from some more experienced editors on our edits to the Grace Kelly article. We were wondering if you could assist us by verifying our sources, which we posted [[2]] on the article's talk page. We were also hoping to make some minor changes to the structure of the article and were hoping for some input on that as well. Our plan for the new structure is as follows:
PERSONAL LIFE
- Family
- Marriage
- Wedding
- Later Years
- Death
Career
- Movies
- Awards
- Fashion
- Modeling
Legacy
- Style
- Links to the Community
- Historical Sites
- Philanthropy
Our group members have the following user pages:
- dcl248
In this link you can find our Wikipedia class page and the description of our assignment: Cornell University Online Communities (Fall 2014)
We hope to hear back from you soon! Kategruenberg (talk) 16:19, 25 September 2014 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
