Metal merging
[edit]I did not understand fully your comments on the Heavy Metal page. Did you think it is best to merge Heavy Metal into the Metal article and make Heavy Metal a redirect to Metal (losing all historical context)? If that´s so, I think it´s nonsense! :-) But, that´s your opinion, you are still allowed to have an opinion (hope Bush descendents do not get too powerfull to prevent that!) By the way, I think you should read Roger Zelazny and David Brin. I bet you will not be let down by those authors! regards Loudenvier 20:39, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
- Yeah, my reasoning is that the term "Heavy metal" is rarely used anymore, people just call it "metal." But really, it doesn't matter which one is merged into which, as long as they're merged. :p
- I'll check those authors out when I have some free time (lately, there's been very little of that, heh). Thanks for the recommendations. Cassandra Leo 03:30, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
Song of Ice and Fire titles
[edit]I noticed that twice now you've edited to say that A Time for Wolves is the title for the sixth book and The Winds of Winter the seventh. What's your source for that? I've never seen A Time for Wolves as anything other than the (tentative) title for the final book. It's variously been number six and number seven in the series, but I don't think it's ever preceded The Winds of Winter. Thanks. Brendan 02:26, 25 December 2005 (UTC)
- I'm sure I've seen The Winds of Winter listed as a tentative title for the final book somewhere, but I can't seem to find it now. Perhaps my memory was in error, or the source I got it from was in error. Cassandra Leo 20:44, 26 December 2005 (UTC)
- Oh, I see. The Winds of Winter was the final title for a while, but that was at a time when he wasn't planning to use A Time for Wolves at all. Now that the official estimate is seven books again, I think A Time for Wolves is back in the last slot. Brendan 00:28, 27 December 2005 (UTC)
- The Winds of Winter was the final title for a while - Ah. That's probably the source of my confusion, then. Thanks for the clarification. Cassandra Leo 00:30, 27 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, I made a few userboxes about ASoIaF, you can see them at Wikipedia:Userboxes/Books and use them at your leisure. I am not finished yet, but eventually I am going to make boxes for all the Houses and perhaps some more ( Nightswatch, etc ). If you understand enough about userboxer you can even improve them. If not, then just "pass the word" about it (please). Flamarande 14:12, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

Redirect of You stole my fucking cloudsong
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on You stole my fucking cloudsong, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because You stole my fucking cloudsong is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting You stole my fucking cloudsong, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. AfD nomination of Impaled Northern Moonforest
[edit]I have nominated Impaled Northern Moonforest, an article you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Impaled Northern Moonforest (3rd nomination). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. ≈ The Haunted Angel 16:44, 5 October 2008 (UTC) ≈ The Haunted Angel 16:44, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification
[edit]Hi. When you recently edited Toxicity (album), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Drug war (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, Cassandraleo. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Diabolus Absconditus, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:
- edit the page
- remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- save the page
Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Michaelzeng7 (talk) 21:20, 16 September 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Cultural depictions of Mary, Queen of Scots may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
