Speedy deletion of ZIP code 10003

[edit]

A tag has been placed on ZIP code 10003, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. —BradV 01:34, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Let us work this out on the talk page. There is clearly a precedent, which I was merely following. Please do not just single my one example out for special treatment.--Caseforyou (talk) 01:38, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh please no

Are we going to have an article on every zip code now too? Help! —BradV 01:35, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, but unless it's 90210, we don't generally provide articles on zip codes. To prove it, here's this April 2007 AFD. --Slgrandson (How's my egg-throwing coleslaw?) 01:44, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
