Afghan Civil War Campaign Box

[edit]

Hello and welcome to wikipedia. You removed the "Afghan Civil War Campaign Box" from a number of articles related to war in afghanistan, that provide background context information for the conflict. It is customary to mention interrelated wars. Please see Wikipedia:WikiProject_Military_history#Naming_conventions for more guideslines.--Victor falk 04:51, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Police casualties

[edit]

Why do you insist on removing the police casualties from the Battle of Chora article? The Afghan police are a paramilitary force, armed with military-grade weapons(AK47s, PKs etc). They often fulfil the same missions as the ANA, and they took part in this battle just like a military force.

Also, if, as you seem to think, non-military personnel should not be included in infoboxes, then please direct me to the policy or guideline that requires this, because I've never seen any. As far as I'm concerned, if someone carried a gun, and took part in the battle, then they should be mentioned. Raoulduke47 10:01, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
