Your lead is very well formulated and does take a neutral stance. It has the feeling of an encyclopedia article so good work so far. I like how you already have the sub headings panned out but you should start filling in your information. Be sure to add references to your work once you start adding more information. In all great planning and you should start moving forward with your article.Rfreyer88 (talk) 17:39, 6 April 2017 (UTC)
You have a very good outline of what you plan to write. I think the order of your headings flows well. My suggestion is to be more specific in your lead once you begin detailed information. Also, I edited some of your sources because you just forgot to italicize some of the journal titles. Katie acc (talk) 03:02, 7 April 2017 (UTC)
Suggestions for your starter article
[edit]Hey Carter, you have a good basis so far, but there are some adjustments I think you could make to improve it. Firstly, I think that the Lisa Conathan quote you use in the lead section is a little gratuitous. I feel that sentence would fit better in a section devoted to the region of the Karuk language or something similar as opposed to the broad lead section. I also think that you would be able to add more sections, possibly about the grammar or phonetics of Karuk. I just think that with the sections currently listed your article will be a little too limited in scope. You seem to be on a good track so far, with a few adjustments I think your article will be very good. I look forward to revisiting your article again when it is finalized.
