Speedy deletion nomination of User:Cartel Roasting Co
[edit]A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Cartel Roasting Co, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 49ersBelongInSanFrancisco (talk) 05:37, 4 April 2023 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Cartel Roasting Co.
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Cartel Roasting Co., requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

You may request a change of username and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:
- Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page.

Request reason:
CartelCoffeeCompany | I did not intend to do any advertisement for Cartel, but only to establish our company as verifiable by the internet and the Wikipedia community. I am the Marketing Manager for Cartel Roasting Co. and do not intend to use Wikipedia for marketing purposes but only to talk about the company's history, Tempe's history, and the history of Phoenix's growth with coffee. I am not being compensated outside of my normal compensation to create a wiki page for our company. I understand entirely that self-advertising is not prohibited, and that's not the whole point of Wikipedia. When creating the page, the intentions were not to advertise or market our company, even though some content may have been perceived that way. When creating a new page, we will strictly follow all Wikipedia guidelines. We plan only to establish the history of Cartel Roasting Co., and its 15 years in the valley, how a local company brought specialty coffee to the community with an edge. No products will be listed for sale. Everything posted will be historical facts. We want to provide official information about the growth of coffee in Arizona through the help of our company.
Decline reason:
"I did not intend to do any advertisement" -- oh come now. Your now deleted Draft:Cartel Roasting Co. was entirely that. From the very first words: "Cartel Roasting Co. Good People, Good Coffee". The very end: "come to our website! here are our social links". --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 03:24, 21 July 2023 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
You seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of how Wikipedia works. Wikipedia is not a business directory, so a company is not entitled to have a Wikipedia article just because it exists. All topics must be notable by Wikipedia's definition to merit inclusion. In the specific case of a company, it must meet the notability criteria for companies and organizations. For this to happen, the company must have already received significant coverage in multiple reliable and independent sources. We have no interest in what a company wishes to say about itself, as this is an inherent conflict of interest.
You will not be allowed to continue editing with your current account name, or any other name that violates Wikipedia username policy. Accounts are for individuals; not companies, organizations or groups of people. As such, the account name must reflect individual use. You will also not be unblocked if your only intention is to write about your company immediately. Admins will only consider an unblock request if, at least in the short term, you commit to editing topics that unrelated to your company. If you are amenable to these conditions, then submit a new unblock request using the {{unblock-spamun}}
template that includes a new (individual) username. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 05:20, 21 July 2023 (UTC)
