Shortened footnotes

[edit]

Hi Carolsantosl, and thank-you for your work on Battle of Yavin! I have one piece of feedback: I see you're using shortened footnotes at lot – of which I thoroughly approve – but not checking after you've used them that the links work. I suggest installing this script, which will warn you of any broken / duplicated / otherwise faulty footnotes using the {{harv}} / {{sfn}} templates. Happy editing, and may the force be with you Wham2001 (talk) 07:18, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the feedback, I'll use the script you mentioned. Carolsantosl (talk) 21:03, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your translations from French

[edit]

Hi there, Carolsantos1, and thank you for your translations from French under OKA. You might be interested to see your article assessments. I've been reviewing them and assessing them as necessary. Apart from the Titanic article (which required quite a bit of work, especially on the tenses), the results have been impressive. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 15:16, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there! Thank you for translating this article into English, it's a fascinating topic.

I've added two templates at the top of the article. One is because the article is overlinked. You should generally use each link only once – for instance, you linked to Austria-Hungary several times throughout the article.

The other template is because the article often uses the present tense. Since the article is about a historic event, it should use past tense throughout. It would be great if you could fix these things and look out for them in future translations. Toadspike [Talk] 11:26, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you are editing for OKA as a paid editor, you need to follow Wikipedia guidelines for paid editor disclosure. This is also mentioned in the OKA Instructions for editors, which suggest the wording to use. Adding 7804j. Mathglot (talk) 04:11, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
