Speedy deletion nomination of Nakatomi Towers
[edit]A tag has been placed on Nakatomi Towers requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ttonyb (talk) 16:16, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
{{helpme}} Not sure what else to add - there are many reputable links including the official BBC artist page which said about a Wikipedia entry (this is what encouraged me to create the wiki entry) - shows artist plays on BBC Radio One & Ulster.
Please let me know what needs done - I am not the best writer & it took me ages to figure out roughly how to do this! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Carleyvibe (talk • contribs) 11:49, 3 January 2010
- Hi there. I have removed the deletion template from the article you are referring to because CSD criterion A7 does not apply. The nominator has taken it to WP:AFD instead, a more complex process in which you can give your opinion and discuss why the article should not be deleted. You should review the discussion there and/or participate in the process. The discussion is ongoing at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nakatomi_Towers Shirik (Questions or Comments?) 18:23, 3 January 2010 (UTC)

The concerns about Nakatomi Towers
[edit]You should review the guidelines WP:GNG and WP:BAND. These indicate what makes a group "notable" and fit for inclusion in an encyclopedia. The concerns with your article are that the group does not meet these guidelines. If you can improve the article to meet those guidelines, please do. Thanks! --Shirik (Questions or Comments?) 18:32, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
