Apologies, I will edit the content to not copy the sentence from another source. I misunderstood the "sandbox" page and thought that it was unpublished and solely as a place to start an article and keep working on it until it was ready for publishing. Is there a way, or a specific location where I can write material without publishing until it is ready?
To address the question of "notability", this topic has been the subject of numerous and reliable and independent publications, as seen in the source list.
thanks
- copyright concerns apply throughout Wikipedia. See WP:C-P#TALK. Also, starting with copied text is a good way of accidentally violating copyright, as you might forget to replace the text. Write in your own words. — rsjaffe 🗣️ 18:34, 6 October 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for the feedback.
- To allow the article to develop and have feedback before being public, am I better off using the Creating Draft, or the Sandbox/Temp? Carefulcalgarian (talk) 20:13, 6 October 2022 (UTC)
- Either would work. Draft articles are more likely to be edited by other people, which could be helpful, but does make it harder to slowly work on something. Draft is definitely better for getting feedback if you use the article for creation process.
- One of the best resources I’ve seen for using sources while avoiding copyright issues is WP:FIXCLOSEPARA. It’s worth reading. — rsjaffe 🗣️ 20:23, 6 October 2022 (UTC)
