List of Jews
Hi Carbon: For your information, the List of Jews was designed for "prominent" Jews (so a "List of prominent Jews" is just a duplicate and would need to be redirected.) The List of Jews is also very extensive and "in depth", and that is why it was eventually divided in sub-lists, such as:
- List of Jewish scientists and philosophers
- List of Jewish Nobel Prize winners
- List of Jewish superheroes
- List of converts to Judaism
- All the lists associated with List of Jews by country
- See also Category:Lists of Jews for other types of lists.
My point is that all these lists deal with the subject of "prominent" Jews and you are free to read those articles and add any names that you think are missing. Please note also that some of the Jewish and Judaica editors have been working on these subjects for a few years, so this is not something "new" that you are "inventing" and "discovering" on Wikipedia. Please spend a few weeks and even months reading and exploring this English language Wikipedia's Jewish and Israeli topics before jumping in and making changes that just mess things up and cause problems, that then have to be cleaned up (you claim to have fixed all your errors, but I went over all your edits, and many articles were in "Categories" still, for example, and had to be removed and edited.) Take a look VERY CAREFULLY at all the articles in Category:Jews and Judaism and Category:Israel and Zionism which are the two main head categories for Judaism and Israel issues. They list and link to over THREE THOUSAND Wikipedia articles about Jews and Judaism and Israel and Zionism, I should know because it has taken me over a year to organize and categorize most of them. Take care. IZAK 08:29, 7 Mar 2005 (UTC)
