There is no indication in WP:NFC that a non-free image cannot be used on a team's season page. All the other teams in MLB have logos on their season pages.
- There's a difference between copyright and trademark. For example, something like the Phillies "P" Logo is not-copyrighted (as it is too simple), and can be used on the 2015 Philadelphia Phillies season article. However, as a logo, it is still trademarked. Meanwhile, File:Orioles new.PNG is copyrighted, so it can't be used on the 2015 Baltimore Orioles season page (it can be used on the Baltimore Orioles page, but we can't have it on every season page, since that wouldn't be minimizing its usage). - All I saw was that it says straight out in the file description (by purpose of use) that it is for use in season articles.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Jdavi333 (talk • contribs)
- Such use in incorrect. See WP:NFC (Unacceptable use, Images, Point 14: It is not acceptable to use a logo of a perennial event (or of its sponsoring company), used to illustrate an article about a specific instance of that event). Basically, what this means is that we can use a non-free logo such as File:Orioles new.PNG on the main Baltimore Orioles page. However, it is forbidden to use it on the individual season pages, since those are repeating, perennial events. Remember, when it come to fair-use content, one of Wikipedia's goal is to minimize the amount of of fair-use content on the encyclopedia. Plastering non-free logos on every year's team-season pages does not do this. Canuck89 (converse with me) 08:05, June 1, 2015 (UTC)

Cole Cassels listed at Redirects for discussion
An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Cole Cassels. Since you had some involvement with the Cole Cassels redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. -- Tavix (talk) 01:18, 1 September 2015 (UTC)
Confusion
I don't understand how the team logos cannot be used on the articles but the Chicago White Sox logo can be on the 2015 White Sox season article? Eric - Contact me please. I prefer conversations started on my talk page if the subject is changed 23:17, 5 October 2015 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
