Hi... Thanks for hunting down and updating the copyright information for Image:Einsatzgruppen Killing.jpg. If the photos have been renumbered, I wonder how many other images sourced from the USHMM collection may now need similiar rechecking.
On a different topic, I note that in the same article you reverted the word "murdered" to "executed" in the phrase "were executed by inmates when/if they could get their hands on them". I agree with the removal of the word "murdered," and not only because it was added by Nazrac, who, let's be candid, is some sort of anti-Semite and Nazi sympathizer, though of precisely what variety doesn't interest me. That said, I also have a problem with the word "executed" in this context, because to me to execute means to kill in conformity with the sentence of some duly-constituted authority, which, strictly speaking, liberated prisoners killing their tormentors can't do. So unless you have a major objection, I'm going to replace "executed" with the neutral word "kill".

That is the reason I changed it to "murdered." In each known case of this happening the killer was a criminal, usually a violent Communist. In one instance an SS guard was murdered with a shovel. I do not believe the word "executed" is appropriate for such an action as it implies due process. It's obvious Cantankrus is policing the article and inserting his bias into it. I will dispute the page if it continues and send it to arbitration. I have no doubt others will agree with me. --Nazrac 16:46, 7 October 2006 (UTC)

It's interesting indeed that you agree with the revert soley because I was the one who changed it. Yet in principle you have the same objection as I do. Cantankrus is one of a cabal of editors who patrol articles related to the Third Reich and anything even remotely related to the Holocaust. The moment one tries to correct the most minischule of details the shrieking about anti-semitism begins. Not only that, but these editors (some of them are even moderators) have a small army of lackeys who will run to their defense and agree with anything they say, irrespective of right or wrong. I suggest you make your judgements based on the facts, and not on politics and hollow accusations. A murder is a murder, whether or not a judicial verdict has been handed down, and for the record the American soldiers involved in the Dachau massacre, which the article in question I edited made thinly veiled references to, were infact court martialed, and therefore by your own definition their actions were considered murder. --Nazrac 08:33, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
