Orphaned non-free image File:Monstercarnival.png

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Monstercarnival.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 23:07, 9 February 2012 (UTC)

Deletion messages

Hi Caniuan3000,

You recently received a message about either "Articles for Deletion" or "Proposed Deletion" of an article you created. I'd like to ask you a few quick questions, so that we can try to improve those notices in a WikiProject I work with:

  1. Was the message helpful? Were the instructions clear and easy to follow?
  2. If not, how do you think the message could be improved?
  3. What do you think about the deletion process in general? Do you understand how to contest a deletion?

Feel free to answer here or send me your response by email (swalling@wikimedia.org). I won't quote you or link your answers to your username if you don't feel comfortable with that. Your feedback is incredibly useful for improving the content of deletion notifications, so please take a minute to think about and answer these questions.

Thank you! Steven Walling (WMF) • talk 23:55, 17 February 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for uploading File:Wiifamily.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Яehevkor 16:59, 25 February 2012 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Usertalk:Canihuan300/Archive4 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect to an article talk page, image description page, image talk page, mediawiki page, mediawiki talk page, category talk page, portal talk page, template talk page, help talk, user page, or user talk page from the article space.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Wii U release date

Please do not add rumored release dates, and then add your own commentary like "don't delete, they're not rumors", to articles, like you did on these edits at Wii U. Until it's officially announced by Nintendo, (who so far, has only confirmed "Holiday 2012") it should not be included in the article, especially if the ultimate sources are these shady "corporate letter leaks", which these sources trace back to. Thanks! Sergecross73 msg me 19:32, 6 April 2012 (UTC)

Same concept for this edit at the 8th gen article too. Sergecross73 msg me 19:52, 6 April 2012 (UTC)
