[edit]Canadian, the files were "prodded" on 6 September, so if you've sent the e-mail two days later, it should be OK. I can't check it, but I have some experience with this procedure, and it has always worked well. The correct procedure is described in the "How to Obtain a Free Image" guide, check it, please. We'll see. --Vejvančický (talk) 07:09, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

Harry and Martha Cohen
[edit]- "this editor has embarked upon a vendetta aimed against Wiki listings of Harry/Martha Cohen upon her death, yesterday, on specious and inappropriate grounds"
- If you believe such nonsense go to ANI and file a complaint. What I have done is edit the articles without fear or favor and removed a lot of blatant POV text. Quis separabit? 13:14, 27 February 2015 (UTC)
- RE Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents, I see no entry regarding myself. You likely did it wrong. I suggest you reconsider your behavior in attempting to file a frivolous complaint regarding articles in which you appear to have a conflict of interest. Quis separabit? 13:56, 27 February 2015 (UTC)
- As I stated in another note, I am NOT a Wiki expert, by any means, but I have more understanding than the mostly older people who requested I provide the material to the various edits I've made, under various Wiki IDs. If you remove a listing, it is a negative reflection upon me, and ergo, that is the primary source of my "heat." But, in the end analysis, I've done as much as I can-- and I suppose you and your editor friends will do whatever you choose. I did my best, that's all I can do. Thank you.CanadianBiographies111 (talk) 14:37, 27 February 2015 (UTC)
- Congrats on the improved quality of your editing but try not to get so touchy whenever something is not up to par. BTW: Any chance of finding out the birth dates (i.e. month and day, not just year) of the Cohens? Might be nice to include. Yours, Quis separabit? 23:58, 7 March 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for the compliment. I am a very infrequent "hobbyist" Wiki editor at best and have a hell of a lot to learn to gain the kind of proficiency that you and others have. When Wiki objects to material I place here, then expunges it, thereafter, I typically receive a "scolding" from those who asked me to serve as their proxy. I agree that I need to be less reactive but when I often spend some 2 hrs on a single listing and then have most of what I placed erased, then it is frustrating, given that I typically do this only as a favor to those who have no computer skill of any kind. With respect to actual literal birth dates, nobody seems to know, since it appears that many of these older folks birthed prior to the Depression (1929)had parents who had large families (6-10 kids) and never paid close attention to the actual birth date of each child.

- It varies from country to country, IMO, Ireland has limited reference sources and often even years and places of birth and death are hazy. The UK, the US, and the Philippines seem to be largely the opposite. Canada is somewhere in the middle. Quis separabit? 01:25, 8 March 2015 (UTC)
RE Martha Cohen
[edit]Yeah, I don't really care. Unless you have been expressly blocked or banned from editing the article, you are free to update it, but keep in mind the rules and policies regarding biographical articles. Yours, Quis separabit? 20:52, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
