[edit]Can you escape (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
It’s been years since I was blocked. I would like to edit wikipedia, I have a history of positive contributions on the Romanian wiki. Can you escape (talk) 13:46, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Your edit is ultimately going to have to cover the points and discussion below from 2019. Now that might have more chance without the global lock, but the evidence seemed fairly conclusive of undisclosed multiple account editing Nosebagbear (talk) 14:20, 10 May 2022 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

[edit]Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice:
{{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

- CheckUser data suggests you are Likely the same person as m:Special:CentralAuth/MNajip, who has been globally locked for xwiki abuse. You are also Likely to Serpians. As you restored the content on a page that got MNajip locked on wikidata, the behavioural and technical evidence indicates you are the sockpuppet of a globally locked user. I do not consider evading a global lock to be a valid use of multiple accounts. TonyBallioni (talk) 14:49, 2 June 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you for the fast reply, I am not trying to evade a ban, especially because I do not edit on the english wikipedia, but I do understand your concern and do respect the rules and policies of wikipedia. I still do not understand why a block was needed as I have not done anything wrong here. I am all about improving the projects owned by wikimedia, not vandalizing them. With respect, Can you escape (talk) 14:56, 2 June 2019 (UTC)
- So, you admit that the other accounts are you? TonyBallioni (talk) 14:58, 2 June 2019 (UTC)
- No, clearly not. I do not know how you traced me back to these accounts. I use cloud gaming instead of physical computers(see “shadow.tech”) most of the time and it is also the one I used when I signed up for this account, the internet protocols are widely shared, but I’d clearly be able to understand your concern if you are saying those two users have abused and vandalized other projects. I’d suggest you to unblock me and closely watch my actions in order to see if they really condone vandalism. With respect, Can you escape (talk) 15:09, 2 June 2019 (UTC)
- So, two accounts created about an hour apart of each other on the same IP, within 24 hours find the same item on Wikidata [1] and you decide to restore a cross-wiki hoax that had previously been added to the article by a logged out editor. You then as your first edits on en.wiki autoconfirmed game on an article that the locked account edited on Wikidata. On top of this both accounts share the same IP as Serpians, and you also miraculously find the article created by Serpians on ro.wiki and know enough to restore the deletion banner? I’m sorry, but that just doesn’t add up, and it very much appears like you are evading a global lock. TonyBallioni (talk) 15:36, 2 June 2019 (UTC)
- I am very sorry that it looks this way, I edited the article because that’s the standard format at ro.wiki and because it was on national news that Liviu Dragnea got arrested, it was a very big scandal. I restored the deletion format because I’m part of the local recent changes monitoring team? I don’t think you understand how slow edits are made on ro.wiki, if I go right now on the recent changes tab I can even see edits that were made an hour ago, on the first page. It does seem that I look like the bad guy in this situation and I am once again very sorry but it’s a misunderstanding. Will this block remain permanent? In the end, I’d like to note that all my intentions were and still are good, and do not condone vandalism in any way. I’m sorry if we can’t agree to something. Waiting for your answer, thank you! 15:50, 2 June 2019 (UTC)

- Hello. I've declined this unblock request. I note rather importantly that the global lock has not been re-implemented. However, I concur with the blocking admin about the relationship of this account to several, many other accounts which have been blocked on this wiki and elsewhere for disruptive behaviour. In reply to your other question, we have a thing called a standard offer. -- zzuuzz (talk) 19:37, 2 June 2019 (UTC)
