This user is a student editor in Wikipedia:Wiki_Ed/Portland_State_University/Byzantine_Art_(Fall_2017). Student assignments should always be carried out using a course page set up by the instructor. It is usually best to develop assignments in your sandbox. After evaluation, the additions may go on to become a Wikipedia article or be published in an existing article. |
Feedback on sandbox additions: Overall Cameron it's great to see the additions you've made to the Sopocani entry, it has much more extensive coverage of the frescoes now. That said, as you revise, here are a few elements to consider:
- the initial section on the influence of early Byzantine art could be moved later. While the early Byz. influence is interesting and worth mentioning, it is also limited in scope--the frescoes are mostly famous as monuments of later Byzantine painting.
- the main change though will come as you deepen your research, it's not 100% clear that you read the feedback on the bibliography. No need to repeat myself, but please go back and look at those suggestions and if you have questions afterwards please email me.
- As you find more specific, better sources on your topic, I bet you'll reconsider some of the points you make and might even have a few additional details to add.
- You're doing a great job though of using Wikipedia, and I see appropriate links, use of their citation tool, etc.
