Song articles

Hey Aaron. First off, I wrote to you on my page :) Next, I seem to disagree with some of these newly created song articles, and would like to first discuss it with you, as you are the main RiRi guy. So, articles like "Red Lipstick" and "Fool in Love" seem to be pushing the envelope of notability. "Cockiness (Love It)" is also an issue. See, even if "WHYB" or "TTT" didn't receive much coverage yet (still far more than these three), they are most probably singles 3 & 4, so there isn't a point in messing with them. These three, however, are bonus tracks and songs that I can assure you won't ever see the light of day. Another issue, they are all around 12K of info, with most of it being a re-hash (no offense intended buddy, I did the same with Mimi albums ;)) of background info on Loud and TTT as a whole, though 'nothing directly correlated to the songs or their composition. Without the "Background and development" sections, they maybe have two paragraphs of actual info a piece. I am not going to lie to you, I would like to see these three articles deleted.--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 21:08, 19 December 2011 (UTC)

To be honest Nathan, they pass WP:SONGS, and have all charted on several charts. Actually, I acknowledge that there isn't a lot of info on them, because I haven't finished adding to them. Look at the Lead on Cockiness for example, not finished yet. They aren't any different to Rather Die Young, Kitty Kat (song) or Honesty (the latter of which isn't even a single). Oh yes and what about the composition? So you mean that the TTT song articles meet WP:GNG? And your statement is false. There are nearly the same numbers of reviews for both albums. It just depends on how much patience you have to filter Google search results. And I don't know about "Skin" but it is an article that can be greatly improved. No I never said that. Just like you never said that Beyonce articles are not well written. If you interpreted my sentence with so much negativity... I can't help it. I also never said I was perfect. If I was, I would have only supports at the FAC with no comment on the prose, etc. What I mean was that FD is not in the same vein on "Skin". Edit warring

You seem to be edit warring on Te Amo, per [1] and [2]. You really haven't got a leg to stand on: the material is sourced properly to the physical magazine. That's what's demanded in WP:Record charts and supported by WP:V#Access to sources.—Kww(talk) 03:32, 20 December 2011 (UTC)

Two reverts is not edit warring, the second of which was a mistake. I did press cancel but it did it anyway. I didn't break the three-revert rule so don't come here giving me all that. This is the last I will say of this, but Rehab passed because your close personal friends, who also massively edited the article during the FAC, supported it. Therefore, if your friends are going to help you and (wrongly, in my opinion) going to support it afterwards, then it is easy for it to pass, especially if you get an FA delegate who doesn't care about such things. That was the main reason why I had a problem with Rehab passing, but I don't think I have ever given you a straight up answer. • Perhaps indeed. I have almost 200 starting from April 2011, so about 50% of my archives are DYK templates. However, it helps that articles on Indonesia are in very poor shape generally. For example, one of the most important Indonesian poets, Chairil Anwar, had an 1154 character stub before I expanded it. Another, Amir Hamzah, didn't even have an article. That's not what I said? I said there is no point listing it for GOCE because it will probably take ages to get a copy-editor. To be honest, I think that certain editors, myself included, are becoming to reliant on getting copy-editors to re-write things. It doesn't always get you anywhere. For each of S&M's FACs, a different person, or even people, have gone through the article, yet there are still concerns with the prose. That's a hell of an article. Looking at your edits to the article this year, I do not think that it could be accepted if it passed this time, as your changes have been small. If it failed, and you subsequently worked on the article based on the suggestions of the reviewer and then successfully renominated, then so be it, but please don't try to do that, as gaming the system with a double-point article could cause some real upset. However, I would be open to the notion of you taking it to FAC and claiming the points- provided you continue to work on the article during the GAC and subsequently, in preparation for the FAC. Yeah it's on my watchlist, but so are over 560 other articles. I don't scan each article every time a log on. I just looked at the articles history. Don't take this the wrong way, but you put an under construction banner on the article on January 13, then a bot removed it on January 23. You, or anyone else for that matter, didn't make an edit between Jan 13 and Jan 23, and no on else had until I did just now, so you made no conscious effort to start working on it, so it is quite easy for you to say that you were just about to start working on it. I am not siding anyone here but Aaron, you should "scan each article every time a log on" on your watch-list when you log in. I have more than you. Yet I do it everyday. I don't think it's a big deal. If you really want to work on some article or care for it, it is natural that you are expected to take a look at it if someone (apart from you) edited it. I got the article on "stand by", because Ben came to my talk page asking to help him with "Don't Stop the Music", but since he 'disappeared' and you can barely see these days on Wikipedia, I took nearly all the job from the article. You could ask me about If I intended to work on the article.
