The article Merkabah Rider: Tales of a High Planes Drifter has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- This article is a plot-only description of a fictional work and provides no evidence of notability. My good faith searches have also failed to establish notability.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. DustFormsWords (talk) 00:08, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
- Additional note: This sounds like a great book but all articles on Wikipedia must meet our notability guidelines. They require significant coverage of the book in reliable, independent sources. To avoid deletion of this article, you should find significant coverage in reliable independent sources, introduce it into the article as references, and then expand the article to describe the real-world context of the book. (Who wrote it? When? Why? Who published it? What was the critical reception? Did it sell well? Did it influence other writers?) - DustFormsWords (talk) 00:08, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
