Hello, Caiversi25, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Brianda and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Edit summaries are helpful

[edit]

Hello, Caiversi25. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

Adding an edit summary helps others quickly understand changes that you have made with an edit. This is especially useful when you make sizable changes to an article in the main encyclopedia space (in other words, not in Draft, Talk, or a 'sandbox' page). For example, it seems that you removed content from the article Code-switching. Maybe you moved it to a draft page? or maybe there was some problem with the text? If you add a short edit summary (e.g. "move to draft"), other editors can quickly understand what you did, and perhaps help you with it, or maybe express disagreement. See Help:Edit summary for more information.

Thanks again for your contributions, and happy editing! Cnilep (talk) 05:28, 20 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
