INSTRUCTOR COMMENT

[edit]

A location map would seem essential.I'm glad you're providing some good tectonic background to the origin of sedimentary basin which the oil field is found. A stratigraphic diagram summarizing the formations, the age and type of sediments would seem appropriate. You have to make your own figure or at least a table if there is nothing suitable that can be posted on Wikipedia. Don't forget to get enough detail in to make this interesting and not too generic. I did like your subheadings which make it easy to find the parts of the discussion that you want to. Pclift (talk) 14:29, 4 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I am impressed with the amount of geologic information on your page, however, some figures would help explain the geology of the region. The information is great, but some detail would keep it from being overly technical. I feel that extra emphasis as to why this field is unique and its significance would add valuable detail. As far as the format, it is well designed as it pertains to following the formation of the field. Overall, I think the geology was thoroughly explained and well written. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tflynn2 (talkcontribs) 05:19, 15 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
