Help
[edit]helpme How do I upload pictures? Then put them on articles in a box with text. Like the second image on this page. 1 2
Also, while your helping me with that. How would I make a link with that without getting those numbers. above.
Hi.
Q1.
- If it is your own picture, it's easy. If not, meh, copyright, blah, complicated. But, your own pic;
- Upload it at commons:upload - pretty easy; for 'licence' choosing 'Public domain' keeps it simple
- Note the filename, and put

on a line on its own, on a page. Try it on a test page, like User:Cacciaguida740/test or something. (make that page, it'll be in your user area, no worries).
For example, at the start of this message, I put
, which shows the image seen here. There are many options; see WP:IMAGE.
For more help, you can either;
- Leave a message on my own talk page;
OR
- Use a helpme - please create a new section at the end of your own talk page, put helpme, and ask your question - remember to 'sign' your name by putting ~~~~ at the end;
OR
- Talk to us live.

Q2. Answer in a minute...
If you put an external (non-wiki) link in the format "", it will appear like this;
If you put something ...it will appear like this;
If you put a wikilink (internal link) like sausage ...it will appear like this;
If you put, "I like sausages"
...it will appear like this...
I like sausages
Try it out - make a page called User:Cacciaguida740/test or something (click that redlink to make it)
Please come and say hello. If that fails, try this
