Conflict of Interest
[edit]Hello, CNDS 2011. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.
The following Wikipedia contributor may be personally or professionally connected to the subject of this draft. Relevant policies and guidelines may include conflict of interest, autobiography, and neutral point of view.

Your username change request
[edit]Hi CNDS 2011! I'm K6ka, an English Wikipedia administrator and a global renamer. I saw your request on the username change requests page, and I wanted to let you know that I unfortunately cannot rename you to your chosen new name, "Projectcoordinator". This is because it falls under the misleading names category of our username policy, as it may imply that you are a project coordinator for Wikipedia. It also classifies as a username that implies shared use, because the "project coordinator" position can change hands and be filled by different people at different times.
One username that we do allow is your real name (or a pseudonym of your choosing), followed by "at <company name>". For example, "John at Example Industries" is an acceptable username. You can choose to be renamed to "<your name> at CNDS 2011", and that will be an acceptable username.
Please advise on how you wish to proceed on this talk page (you can still edit this page even when blocked). Once the rename is complete, I can unblock you so you may continue editing under this account. Best regards, —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 02:13, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
Rename unsuccessful
[edit]Sorry, I can't rename you to GoodieTwoShoes as it is too close to an existing user Goodietwoshoes. Please pick another username and edit the above template with your choice. PhilKnight (talk) 09:49, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

Note to CNDS 2011: The block I administered should have allowed you simply to abandon and forget the password for this account name and to create a brand new user account. You've made so few edits that a formal adminstrative change hardly seems worthwhile. Either way, please leave a note here when you've managed to get a new account (one way or another) and this account will then be soft-blocked again. Nick Moyes (talk) 10:29, 20 March 2021 (UTC) I managed to get a new account but I am wondering if I can keep the article I created or I have to create it from scratch. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Laced-strait (talk • contribs) 10:58, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

- Yes, you can certainly continue editing the draft you started - there is no need whatsoever to ask you to start over again. Please understand that we really don't want to discourage you from contributing to Wikipedia, it's just we needed to ensure you, sa a new user, adhered to our policies (even if you weren't aware of them!). But please bear in mind, we do still need you to declare your connection and your employer per WP:PAID, or your WP:COI if you aren't actually gaining remuneration from the organisation, but do have some direct connection with it. Bear in mind that you should only include content that is published in secondary sources, and not write stuff that you, as an insider, happen to know, or simply want to share with the world, or content based upon its own website. Everything here needs to be Verifiable, and at the moment the draft reads as pure WP:PROMOTION and uses non-neutral and non-encyclopaedic phrases, whereas it must meet this notability criterion if it stands a chance of being accepted here. Thanks, Nick Moyes (talk) 22:34, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
April 2021
[edit]Hello, CNDS 2011, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia. Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. TheSandDoctor Talk 19:44, 18 April 2021 (UTC)
