Orphaned non-free image File:Frontex EBCG logo.svg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Frontex EBCG logo.svg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Ronhjones (Talk) 20:01, 31 March 2017 (UTC)
2017 China-India border standoff
[edit]Hi CMaldoror, thanks for uploading the images for the 2017 China-India border standoff page. Unfortunately, they got deleted from commons, where you uploaded them. English Wikipedia allows fair use. Please study the policies and see if you can upload them locally. Cheers, Kautilya3 (talk) 11:47, 25 August 2017 (UTC)
Hi CMaldoror, I added the following comment on the media's reported "Nehru letter":
The text in (This clearly refers to ...... were not involved) in the above does not sound authentic, since in the same cited article [32] it stated "Nehru’s letter seems to refer to northern Sikkim and not to the tri-junction". "This clearly refers to" vs "Nehru’s letter seems to refer to": which one do you want the reader to believe? This is the media's unofficial claim about Nehru's letter, but the current India government has not said anything about it so far for the current contentious dispute.

Non-free images
[edit]Please note that the agreed guideline for Non-free images is 100,000 pixels. High resolution images must not used as a non-free image. Images affected are File:Chinese Map on India-China Doklam standoff.png and File:Chinese photograph of Indian troops at Doklam standoff.png. They are now both at the guideline size.
