The article Cathy Linh Che has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. power~enwiki (π, ν) 04:31, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Cathy Linh Che

[edit]

Hi! I moved this article to your userspace at User:CLong/Cathy Linh Che so you can work on it. Ultimately what happened is that you moved this article live, however the article lacks any sourcing to show where Che is notable. It does have mention of some awards, however you still need to have independent, reliable sources that verifies these claims. This could be something like a news article about Che or her work, coverage in an academic journal, or similar. Be careful of primary sources (things released by Che or people affiliated with her) and brief mentions in relation to something else - these won't be able to show notability for her. Also be careful of self-published sources like blogs, as these rarely undergo the type of editorial oversight and verification process that Wikipedia requires.

Hannahwilliamson has also been working on an article for Che, so it would be a good idea to coordinate with her on creating an article since this can make the process a bit easier overall. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 13:12, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
