The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Disambiguation link notification for July 19
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic fiction, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Stray. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:30, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
October 2023
[edit]Hello, I'm Waxworker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, List of apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic fiction, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Waxworker (talk) 22:11, 1 October 2023 (UTC)
List of films featuring dinosaurs require sources
[edit]When you add a new title could you also add the source that states it has dinosaurs? It's required by wikipedia with all entries. We need to add it to old additions also. Thanks. Fyunck(click) (talk) 23:13, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- No problem, could you recommend what sources would be acceptable for this page? CJsaurus (talk) 23:28, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- I'm not sure. Certainly not imdb as that is a place where readers add things (blog). Every movie will be different, but looking at your last entry we could use: moviesreview101.com/kingdom-of-the-dinosaurs-2022-movie-review/ or www.blu-ray.com/Kingdom-of-the-Dinosaurs/1605222/ or www.voicesfromthebalcony.com/2022/08/29/kingdom-of-the-dinosaurs-2022-review/ or even www.moviefone.com/movie/kingdom-of-the-dinosaurs/I2JEdFTDghqeWDPnaaQou5/main/. Those may not be as great as ESPN, New York Times, or People Magazine, but they certainly help our readers see that it really is a movie about dinosaurs. Use the proper formatting as the few other entries have and all should be good. Fyunck(click) (talk) 23:49, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
edit war
[edit]Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
