I’m a university student in a Wikipedia Education class, and I’m currently learning how to contribute to Wikipedia.
I am approaching my subject in good faith.
If you have any concerns or questions, my tutor’s name is Ajcwritwiki (talk · contribs). Thanks!

Lagunaria
[edit]Hi, good observation that Lagunaria is now accepted to have two species, not just one. The policy with organisms is:
- If there's one species in a genus, we normally have one article at the genus name, which discusses both the genus and the species.
- If there is more than one species, we have an article at the genus name + articles at the species name.
So I re-organized Lagunaria and made Lagunaria patersonia. If you can expand either article, particularly Lagunaria patersonia, or create an article on Lagunaria queenslandica, that would be good! Peter coxhead (talk) 08:55, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for the help Peter! I'll keep working on Lagunaria for now but may move on to one of the individual species later. CHAM203 (talk) 06:40, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
May 2021
[edit]Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Lagunaria, from its old location at User:CHAM203/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. signed, Iflaq (talk) 06:15, 15 May 2021 (UTC)
