[edit]Hi Chantal,
I figure you are still editing, so some of these ideas/suggestions may already be on your to-do list. I assume that once you finish the body of your article, the opening overview will become fuller. In the legacy section, are there any artists that were greatly influenced by Aaron Douglas? That may be something to add if you already have the research. In my research on Jones, scholars believed Douglas influenced her early work in the 1930s from her brief stays in Harlem for example. Also, have you come across any mention that Douglas was practically unknown when he died? That may be something to add in your last section of his biography! I liked your discussion of his style - I wouldn't have thought to add that as it's own section. I think additional information in the biography section is needed, even if it is just mentions of exhibitions he was in or something along those lines - although this may already be on your radar to add later. I think the Early life/education section has all the information, but the flow is a little choppy. Are there any open images of his other works? Also, did he only work in his highly stylized manner or does his work encompass different styles? Are there artists that he taught while in Nashville that you could mention or link to as well?
Overall, I like the edits you have made to your article! Did you see the paintings on display at NMAACH by him yesterday? Gjkinney (talk) 15:35, 18 March 2017 (UTC)
