Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Christopher Thomas Carter. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. --Hojimachongtalk 08:04, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Tjc mortgage, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.tjcmortgage.com/aboutus.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 05:44, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Tjc mortgage
[edit]A tag has been placed on Tjc mortgage, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. --CWY2190TC 05:44, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Tjc mortgage. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. Dethme0w (talk) 07:05, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

!!HELP ME UNDERSTAND WHAT IS PROMOTION ON THIS PAGE!!CCHOMERUN (talk) 07:21, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- It seems that this has already been discussed on the relevant talk page, but to clarify, it seems that your account exists for no other reason than to promote your company. This is not allowed. Wikipedia pages are not blogs nor do they serve to promote/validate/verify companies.
- Additionally, as the creator of the article, you may not take down the speedy deletion tags. If you wish to contest speedy deletion, please follow the instructions listed, namely by placing a {{hangon}} tag in the appropriate place. Hobbeslover talk/contribs 07:25, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
"it seems" the website is here to inform. I am informing. NO PLACE on the site does it give a phone number or promote usage of TJC mortgage. I went out of my way to source, including the BBB. Do you see any place that promotes the company. The countrywide mortgage site is exactly the same as this site. Please show me where promotion is being show CCHOMERUN (talk) 07:29, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- The relevant policies are under WP:CORP and WP:CSD (General 11 and Article 7). You do not assert why this organization is notable. Additionally, the word "promote" should be taken loosely; wikipedia is a website that everyone uses nowadays, and having an article in wikipedia is seen as a sort of status symbol. Yet, wikipedia serves not to "inform" about everything under the sun, but only notable encyclopedic entries. A local mortgage firm does not fit under this criteria. Hobbeslover talk/contribs 07:35, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, one more thing. Countrywide financial is very notable, as it is not only listed in the NYSE but a financial leader, or at the very least, is big enough to impact worldly issues, making it a very notable organization. Hobbeslover talk/contribs 07:37, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
So, if I give a reason "why" TJC (which is a large mortgage firm by the way) is notable you will stop discriminating against the company and allow the text to be published?? CCHOMERUN (talk) 07:40, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- It's not discrimination, it's just policy and an effort to keep the integrity of wikipedia intact. You are free to continue editing this even while it is under consideration for speedy deletion. Just make your case in the talk page and start to improve the article. However, even if this page does survive speedy delete, there is a good chance that it will be taken through the regular deletion process. Hobbeslover talk/contribs 07:46, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- Er, I should caveat that you may edit it without taking down the speedy tags. Hobbeslover talk/

Dethme0w state on his wiki page “Dethme0w is the creator and owner of artofhacking.com, a large and popular computer and telecom security based website.”
TJC Mortgage gets over 10,000 hits per month. TJC is a large and VERY popular mortgage brokerage firm.
You getting my point??
You want Notable…the better business bureau says we are notable. Is this supposed to be some sort of popularity contest? CCHOMERUN (talk) 07:49, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- If you can provide references to reliable, published sources that establish the notability of your company, then the article might not be deleted. These references should not be to sites like the BBB, because their content is basically user generated and thus not reliable, and because the BBB and like sites list many, many non-notable companies. You need to get those references soon, or the article will be deleted anyway. And I would caution against using terms like "discriminating against" - as it stands now, the article clearly fails the established notability guidelines for companies. No one is discriminating, we are following policies that were here already. By the way, my own website gets something like 100,000 hits a month and it's not notable enough to have an article here. Mentioning my site in my user page is not the same as having an article (if anything, it's full disclosure of my own potential conflicts of interest). Web traffic is not notability. Dethme0w (talk) 07:51, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
are you kidding me...Rutgers??? What the hell is wrong with your football team?? CCHOMERUN (talk) 07:57, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
