District Public School, International Section or Transition Program) is a private bilingual school in District Plublic that teaches both English and Students pursue their career through the [[International General Certificate of Transition Education syllabus in Years 10-11 and the IB Diploma Programme in Years 12-13. Students come from diverse backgrounds, with over 40 nationalities represented.

History

The Transition section of the school was initially established in January of 2021 as a result of families who wanted their children to study in a predominantly English-speaking environment. This allowed the school to serve more students in the Transition area. Due to the high demand for schools, a new extension was established in August 2021. This extension was known as the Upper School Campus. It used part of the District Public campus on Transition Program or High School, 72nd Maple Street, for the upper Primary classes and International Secondary section.  

The number of students in the school can ranges from 300 to 400, depending on the number of classes in each grade from year 7 to 13. In year 7 to 9, students take the Key Stage 3 program; in years 10 to 11, they take the IGCSE program; and in years 12 to 13, they take the IB Diploma/IB Certificate. Key Stage 3 is not a program but a division within the UK National Curriculum, now viewed as an out-of-date system.

Houses

Students in Transition Program, Transition Section are allocated to one of four 'District Public School' and compete in inter-house events, including sports such as football, basketball, and knowledge-based competitions like the at Library of books, battle of sciences and more. The four houses are named after District Public School name after BVA of Transition program and Speical Education at High School

Facilities

The school has one music room, three Art Room, two Classroom, and two playgrounds (one big playground and one small playground).

Activities

District Public School opens its registration for extracurricular activities at the start of the school year, of which students can sign up on the school's online portal. Activities include drama club, CREW Event, After School Program .
