According to the Wikipedia Manual of Style, years, decades, and dates should not be linked, unless they are important to the article (an example of important linking is birth and death dates). Wikider 03:14 15 February 2006

Nomination of Cliff Hangers for deletion
[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Cliff Hangers is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Cliff Hangers (3rd nomination) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion.
