C. Boewe, do you know anything about West Salem? I am from West Salem.
Possibly. I grew up there. I am a historian. I have written a book about the town in the 1930s. I have given the Wikipedia West Salem piece a professional editing job--which it sorely needed--and I see now that a few more small improvements can be made. However, I have made no substantive changes in the article, though there are a few points over which disagreement is possible.
