EFilm

[edit]

I've removed your deletion tags from EFilm as you tagged the older of the two articles, and your WP:AFD nomination was incomplete. I then proposed a merge. Feel free to comment on the talk page. Monty845 20:28, 26 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

EFilm promotion

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia!

Please acquaint yourself with Wikipedia's policy on conflicts of interest, along with some of our other foundational policies. This will help you decide what you can reasonably contribute to Wikipedia without disruption.

I would not recommend you include the Wikipedia article on EFilm in your new promotional campaign. Wikipedia is not friendly to advertising, and should not be considered an extension of your website. Per WP:OWN, you cannot control the content of the EFilm Wikipedia article, which is already being re-written. Also, if some unflattering incident becomes news-worthy, it is likely to be appended to the EFilm article. Wikipedia is not censored. If you want your company's website to portray EFilm in the most encouraging possible terms, you should not incorporate an uncontrollable external site in your advertising.

I hope it is understandable that I am trying to be helpful. / edg 19:48, 15 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your help. There is no intention to use Wikipedia as an advertising platform. Only want to ensure all information is correct.Bydeluxe (talk) 21:53, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please use Edit Summaries for all saves

[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed your recent edit to EFILM does not have an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks!

Thank you for the information. I have since redone the edits and filled out the edit summary.Bydeluxe (talk) 21:54, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
