- One of the most notable cultural phenomena of the past few years has been the incredible rise of Black Lives Matter--we even see BLM flags hanging in many school classrooms now. Here is a quote from one of the founders: "We do have an ideological frame. Myself and Alicia, in particular, are trained organizers; we are trained Marxists. We are superversed on, sort of, ideological theories."
- Note also the book publisher Penguin Random House has said Garza, an author, "describes herself as a queer social justice activist and Marxist."

Facts like this should be included in the article to provide much-needed context supporting the idea of the presence of cultural Marxism instead of merely dismissing it as a "far-right conspiracy theory." Bws92082 (talk) 21:20, 29 August 2023 (UTC)
