Draft page
[edit]Hi, Bvester01. I'm not sure on where your draft is meant to fit in on Wikipedia. are you planning to add to Automotive industry in the United States, Cars in the 1920s, or Antique car? There are a few other well developed articles in the topic area which cover this period of history in the US. Adam (Wiki Ed) (talk) 16:23, 28 April 2016 (UTC)
- Hi, again, Bvester01. You can reply here if you like. Did you give any thought to the question I asked above? Adam (Wiki Ed) (talk) 16:13, 2 May 2016 (UTC)

Hey Adam yes I would love to add to the antique cars page. I responded yesterday but It must have been on a talk page that you don't visit often.
- Ok. What are the sources you've used for this draft? If you look on the antique car page or the others, you'll see inline citations for each claim. That helps readers and editors verify and evaluate claims on the page. I see you've got Ladd (which I assume is this). Is that the only source or are there others?
- I'd also recommend you break your draft up into paragraphs around the various ideas or facts you want to convey. I can help edit and change things for style, but I don't want to start too heavily until I have a clear sense of what you think the section should look like.
- Writing for wikipedia is different than other formats. Articles are meant to link to one another throughout the text in lieu of general explanation. So in this case because your content is meant to go into the Antique car article, I've removed some of the introductory info in the first paragraph and linked to other articles where a reader can go for further information as needed. Take a look at your remaining work and see where a link to an appropriate article may help you better explain an idea or use fewer words doing so.
- I hope this helps. Let me know when you've done the above and I'll take another look. Adam (Wiki Ed) (talk) 17:21, 3 May 2016 (UTC)

[edit]There is some good information here but in regards to the disputes between motorists and the rural lands they encroached on I think it is important to illustrate just how special they rural disdain for elitist motorists was. And keep in mind Adam's advice and really tailor your article to the topic area you intend to post. - Christopher MallosCjmallos (talk) 17:25, 28 April 2016 (UTC)
