Mary Bearch
[edit]In a recent article in the New Yorker magazine, Mart Bearch, a classics professor at the University of Cambridge said the following:
Men have silenced outspoken women since the days of the ancients.
She acknowledges that...it is easier to document ways that women have been silenced than it is to find a remedy to their silencing.
The fact is that if you leave Wikipedia your voice will be silenced. I'm sure that the recent discussions were troubling but you should know that many editors, to varying degrees, support your stance, your line in the sand. Do not let the grumblings of your detractors cause you to silence yourself.
There is depressing evidence of a deep-rooted imbalance and a reminder to ones moral duty to educate the "easily spooked masses".
Frame the Narrative
[edit]Ted Cruz, (yes. that Ted Cruz) says The battle is won by choosing the terrain on which the battle will be fought.
Frame the narrative in the most advantageous way. Persuade. Win the battle of articulation. Remember the audience.
