Wim Kegel

Wim Kegel(born 8 December 1967)is a Dutch Jazz Drummer, who has played with many mucisians including Pat Metheny, Dave Liebman, Bob en Chuck Findly, Ack van Rooyen, Clark Terry, Scott Hamilton and George Duke. He also studied with Henk v/d Berg, Rakalam Bob Moses, Joe Morello and Jamey Haddad.

Childhood

Wim Kegel was born in The Hague. He took his first drum lesson from his father Nico at the age of seven. On his nith he started taking drum lessons at the Stedelijke Muziekschool. From his 15th to his 22nd year he was at the Conservatory in The Hague were he graduated Cum Laude.
