Adminship
If you're interested in becoming an administrator on site I'd be happy to offer a nomination for you when your ready. As a wise word of caution, the process is usually brutal, but if you want to take a chance on getting the mop and bucket I will put in the paperwork. For what its worth, I think you'd be a good admin. TomStar81 (Talk) 13:03, 5 February 2015 (UTC)
- Well now, this sure is interesting. Are you sure you've got the right guy? I haven't been actively contributing here for a year or so. Now granted, there's nothing preventing me coming back, and think I have matured since I last threw my hat into the ring, but I presume my absence will raise a substantial amount of questions at RfA. Your thoughts? Buggie111 (talk) 14:43, 5 February 2015 (UTC)
- Its rfa, and as the number of people who try and the number of actually pass demonstrate clearly, its not like the participating parties care anyway. So your case is a little different. So what? The worst thing they can do is turn you down again, and its not like failing an rfa is a death sentence. Fortune favors the bold, and if you never try, you'll know what could have been. I would know. I failed two different admin requests before finally passing my third, and I don't do all that much with the tools anyway, unless I feel the urge to purge, which is unusual. I say go for it, but that's me. TomStar81 (Talk) 21:33, 5 February 2015 (UTC)
- Well, that does sound assuring. I'm log-jammed with homework right now but if I get back into the swing of things slowly I'd be fine with doing it in a month or so. Buggie111 (talk) 11:08, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
