Also please note:
I wanted to apologize for abruptly reverting your edit to George Michael. Saying someone is gay is a very common mode of vandalism and when I saw your edit I thought it was yet another example. Upon reading the article a bit I see the gentleman is indeed homosexual, so I shouldn't have done a generic reversion. Having said that, however, the fact that he's homosexual does not belong in the article's introduction because that has nothing to do with his notability. It is mentioned further along in the article, as is proper. Anyway, sorry again for being abrupt. Be well and happy editing!
