Active Citizens Transform, added references

I added some references to the Active Citizens Transform article. You might want to revisit the AfD. --Eastmain 22:01, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Done, since references have been added, I have changed my vote.--Bryson{Talk}{Edits} 23:03, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Question

I hope not to delve, but I was just searching the site when I stumpled across your page, User:Bryson109/help. I was just wondering - why is my name there and what does it mean? Hope to hear from you soon, —ÅñôñÿMôús Dîššíd3nt 07:20, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

I added your name there when you were new here and writting U-boat articles, I wanted to keep track of what you were doing.--Bryson{Talk}{Edits} 15:02, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
Oh! Thanks for watching out for me then. Now that i think about it, you did help me a fair bit. I appreciate that now. Thanks for your help. —ÅñôñÿMôús Dîššíd3nt 07:38, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

Unterseeboot 94

GREAT ARTICLE BRYSON!! but...........There never was a Canadian Navy or if there was one it existed before 1908. The correct name, is of course, the ROYAL CANADIAN NAVY. --Niloc 23:27, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

Thanks, I changed the wiki link to Royal Canadian Navy, instead of Canadian Navy. --Bryson{Talk}{Edits} 00:29, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

Re: Napoleon 1

Hi Bryson,

I understand you removed my edit for Napoleon, and I think I understand your views. However, the very title especially his death should empower a reader to know what was going on in his brain. I know I was very surprised to learn the information I posted. In fact, when I first read Liddon's quote I disbelieved it and set out to prove it was fiction. It is not. I had to find out who Liddon was and when he lived, who he delivered his lecture to, etc. I have provided the results of that research from the original lecture to the research embodied in the footnote belonging to the the original lecture. By the way, I first read of this in a contemporary book, and that again is why I thought it was fake. I trust it will remain a part of Wikipedia.

Best!

One more thought, Bryson: Thosw were Napoleon's thoughts. Not ours. The world has a right to know he had them.

Hey - no worries. Not many can say they have as many DYKs as you. When you get a few more, you may like to add your name to the list I am constructing. (still under construction) Anonymous Dissident Utter 06:20, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

Warning vandals

Hi Bryson109, many thanks for warning vandals as you did at User talk:Jermboy7. Could I ask you to substitute your warning tags on talk pages, and also to sign them? Also you might want to check out the new user warning templates which standardize the warning system and replace the older {{test}} series. Good luck, and again thanks for your help. Gwernol 02:25, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

First what is substitute? User Tools uses the 'test' template, why is it not being used anymore?. Also I never sign vandal's talk page's anymore, because it only resulted in my user page being vandalised. --Bryson{Talk}{Edits} 02:30, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
Details on substituting templates can be found here. Basically you put {{subst:test}} instead of {{test}}. The test templates are due to be retired once the UW templates have been in use for a while, no doubt the User Tools will be updated in due course. Finally, you should sign warnings, even if it does occasionally lead to vandalism. First its just polite to identify yourself if you are interacting with another user in any way. Second, it means that if a user has a legitimate reason to contact you about the warning, they have an easy way to do so. Many new users are unaware of page history so can't find you if you don't sign. Thanks, Gwernol 02:38, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

I talked about it with the blocking admin. We are going to give him another chance. WP:AGF/WP:BITE and all that. If he does it again he will be indef'd and will have burned his last chance.--Isotope23 19:09, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

Hi - a stub template or category which you created has been nominated for deletion or renaming at Wikipedia:Stub types for deletion. The stub type, which was not proposed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals, does not meet the standard requirements for a stub type, either through being incorrectly named, ambiguously scoped, or through failure to meet standards relating to the current stub hierarchy or likely size, as explained at Wikipedia:Stub. In this particular case, the stub type duplicates a long-established stub type ({{NapoleonicWars-stub}}). Please feel free to make any comments at WP:SFD regarding this stub type, and in future, please consider proposing new stub types first.

Grutness...wha? 02:32, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
