[edit]I've put a couple of relevant tags on the article. It's completely lacking reliable sources as to whether it even exists, much less has the thousands of players you claim. The tone is also more like that of a recruitment brochure than an impartial appraisal. I'm not trying to kill the article, I'm trying to make it better. --Orange Mike 20:22, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
- We've clearly gotten off on the wrong foot here, and I sincerely regret it.
- The description of the organization as a LARP I took to be accurate. I don't think of LARPs as evenly remotely related to the SCA, which is nothing of the kind. I apologize if your perception of these matters differs.
- The procedure for verification assumes that the cited sources will be in the article, not sought on a website maintained by the subject organization, due to potential conflicts of interest. I did not claim that the organization did not exist, merely that we have no sources outside the organization's own website verifying its existence.
- May I ask which of the names you put in your post to my page is your SCA name? I am Lord Inali of Tanasi, GDH; I've been involved since AS VI, and am not normally reckoned discourteous by nature. --Orange Mike 18:02, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- Anno Societatis means "Year of the Society"; i.e., I joined in A.S. VI, or late 1971: before there was a Pennsic War (Cariadoc was still in the Midrealm), and when there were only four kingdoms (Atenveldt stretched from Arizona to Virginia, I seem to recall). It is currently A.S. XLII. --Orange Mike 20:53, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
